Privacy policy

Clear information about what stays on your device, when an app connects online, and the choices you have over your information.

Effective and last updated:

Local data stays under your control

Content, results and preferences in local features are stored on your device, without automatic uploads to us.

Online requests have a purpose

Some apps check for updates or load content. Our servers receive the technical information needed to serve those requests.

You choose what to share

Exports and sharing happen when you choose them. You can manage local data through the app, browser or device settings.

1. Scope and developer

This policy applies to apps and websites developed and published by Thianesh U K, also published as Thianesh UK, that link to this page. Features differ between apps, so the sections below apply when the relevant feature is available.

An app that provides a separate privacy policy is governed by that policy. If an app introduces different data practices, such as accounts, payments, advertising or additional online processing, those practices must be explained in its policy or an accompanying feature-specific notice before they are used.

2. Data on your device

Local features may store content you create, notes, search indexes, game answers, scores, progress, saved drafts, preferences and optional details you enter, such as a name or age group. These are stored in the app’s device storage or your browser’s local storage. We do not automatically upload this local content to our servers.

Where an app offers local search, calculations or exercises, that processing happens on your device. An optional name or age preference used locally is not an account registration.

Your operating system or a backup service you enable may include app data in device backups. Those backups are governed by that provider’s settings and privacy policy. We do not receive the contents of those backups.

3. Online features and server logs

Some apps work entirely offline. Others may contact our services to check for a new content version, download content, load a website or retrieve files. Update checks can happen in the background. Where an app offers consent-based content updates, new content is downloaded and activated after you accept the update.

Online requests expose technical information to the server, such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser or app user agent, and a referring page when supplied. A requested URL may identify a content or app version. This information is used to deliver requests, maintain the service, diagnose failures and protect against abuse. Local notes, answers, scores and preferences are not part of these update requests.

Routine request metadata may be recorded in server access or error logs. We do not use those logs for advertising profiles. This policy website has no analytics scripts, advertising, tracking pixels or cookies. Covered local features do not use advertising IDs or cross-app tracking; any different practice requires an explicit disclosure.

4. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical request information to operate our services. They do not receive your locally stored app content through ordinary update checks.

If you export a file, share a result or send information to another app, you choose the destination. The receiving service handles that information under its own policy. Exports and screenshots can contain personal details you entered, so review them before sharing.

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send, and use them to respond to your request. Email providers process those messages. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse, protect our services or defend legal rights.

External links, app stores and device backup services operate under their own policies. Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live.

5. Retention, deletion and your choices

  • Local app data: retained until you clear it through available app controls, clear app or browser storage, or uninstall the app. A control that clears results may leave preferences intact; device storage controls can remove all local app data.
  • Exports and backups: remain wherever you saved or backed them up. Removing app data does not automatically remove exported files or backups; manage those through the relevant file or backup service.
  • Routine server logs: removed through scheduled log rotation, normally over approximately two weeks of active logging. Records needed to investigate security incidents, resolve issues or meet legal obligations may be retained longer.
  • Support messages: retained as needed to respond, resolve the issue and meet applicable obligations. You can request deletion of information you sent us.

We cannot access or restore local data that was never sent to us. Export important information before deleting it. Where applicable, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, or object to its use, by contacting us below.

6. Security and device permissions

Our online services use HTTPS. Access to server information is restricted, and local data relies on the protections of your app, browser and operating system. Keep your device secure and review what you export or share.

If a feature needs a device permission, the app requests it for that feature and explains its purpose. You can manage permissions in device settings. A permission does not by itself mean that device content is uploaded. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

7. Children’s privacy

Age suitability varies by app and is described in its store listing. We do not knowingly ask children to send us personal information through local app features. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be disclosed through the affected app or an appropriate notice. If a new feature requires consent, that consent is requested before the relevant processing begins.

9. Contact and privacy requests
